30 May-Climbed Carrantuohill via Brother O'Sheas Gully. Featured on Radio Kerry and Irish Daily Mirror. Weather was very good so decided to take more interesting route. A tribute to Martin my donor was placed below the cross at the top. 2 June-4Peaks4Life featured The Sun 26 June-4Peak4Life featured in the Southside People 21 July -4Peak4Life featured in the Irish Times 29 July -4Peak4Life featured in the Irish Post in London
23 July-Climbed Snowdon
weather at the top very cold and misty. Drove to Fort William on
Friday 24 July and did interview with Rachel English in a stop on the M6.
This was broadcast on the Saturday AM radio show and generated a lot of
donor awareness. Meanwhile we got excellent weather on Saturday for Ben
Nevis, clear and warm on top. It was quite humbling to hear that a blind man
got to the top the same day.
Thanks to my best friend, support, lover
and wife Margaret Barron, truth be know the last few years have placed a
heavy burden on her. Margaret has ridden the roller coaster to hell and
back with me over the last few years a true friendship.
